Hi I am Gracie and I am one of your groomers here at Wild Woof Retreat! I have been working with dogs for about 4 years now and got into the field through training - behavior modification specifically. I became a groomer because I wanted to bridge the gap between training and grooming. Since most pups I knew didn’t enjoy the experience. I love creating a safe, calm place for dogs of all ages and sizes. My favorite types of dogs to groom are poodle/poodle mixes, Shih-Tzus, Pomeranians & German Shepherds. However my favorite breed of dog is the Cavalier King Charles spaniel. I love doing handscissored trims and teddy bear trims. I have 2 of my own dogs, a Chiweenie named Kevin, and a Staffordshire terrier mix named Everett.
My biggest piece of advice for pet owners is consistency. Regular maintenance is key to skin and coat health, and allows your pup to be accustomed to the process and the team behind it!
I am currently CPR and first aid certified aswell as AKC S.A.F.E certified.
